A Retreat Focused on Some Real Issues

This past week, Laidback had the privilege of curating a retreat for a philanthropic organization focused on environmental issues around the globe. They are for using sound science and economics to develop environmental solutions that work.

In India, they support efforts to support future of shared, sustainable prosperity..

We were tasked with creating an activity based experience for them with ice-breaker sessions and energizer games that brought together some wonderfully passionate and smart people.. Due to the pandemic, most had only seen each other virtually. 

We identified a beach in Kerala, and got them there. What followed was 3 action packed days of bonding, knowledge sharing, and workshopping. Here are a few candid moments we spent together.

We know we are facing some serious environmental issues and it is extremely reassuring to learn that there are people who are genuinely working towards a better tomorrow. While most choose to look the other way, these guys work day and night and attempt to return the planet to a condition it was originally meant to be in. To be enjoyed by generations to come.
